Club Fees
The Fort McMurray Thunder Volleyball Club is a registered non-profit organization with the Government of Alberta. The player fees charged go towards various items which are listed below.
12U Thunder Team: $500 + Commitment Fee
14U - 18U Thunder Teams: $900 + Commitment Fee
Commitment Fees: 12U - $500
Commitment Fees: 14-16U - $750
Commitment Fees: 17-18U - $1000
*Commitment Fees: These fees go directly to the team to cover expenses (tournament registration, coach expenses, & other team expenses). These fees can recouped through fundraising after all expenses/budget is covered. Red shirt athletes will not pay the commitment fee.

*Fees do not include any tournament registrations or travel expenses. It is up to each individual team to decide which tournaments they attend based on player/coach availability, as well as the travel and hotel options. Teams are also responsible to cover coach expenses (travel/hotel/per diem) which standard rates are set by the club.
**By accepting a position on one of our teams and paying your above player fees, you are entitled to train and practice as a Thunder Volleyball Athlete. Playing time, however, is earned and is based on many factors including attendance, work ethic, attitude, and game preparation.

All Fees are paid in full prior to the season and the club will reimburse the money after receiving the grant.
