The Fort McMurray Thunder Volleyball Club is a registered non-profit organization with the Government of Alberta. The player fees charged go towards various items which are listed below.
2025 Thunder Competitive Programs:
18U to 15U Teams: $900 + $1000 Commitment Fee
*Commitment Fee: this will go directly back to the team to cover expenses (tournament registration, coach travel expenses, & other team expenses). These fees can recouped through fundraising after all expenses/budget is covered.
2025 Thunder Development Programs:
12U to 15U Teams: $TBD

*Fees do not include any tournament registrations or travel expenses. It is up to each individual team to decide which tournaments they attend based on player/coach availability, as well as the travel and hotel options. Teams are also responsible to cover coach expenses (travel/hotel/per diem) which standard rates are set by the club.
**By accepting a position on one of our teams and paying your above player fees, you are entitled to train and practice as a Thunder Volleyball Athlete. Playing time, however, is earned and is based on many factors including attendance, work ethic, attitude, and game preparation.
